Manager About the Role:
Joining a team that is revolutionizing agriculture, as a Zordi Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the prosperous growth of crops in our greenhouse.
Your duties will include tending to plants, harvesting fruits, and assisting with various greenhouse operations.
Pay:
$17-20 per hour
Responsibilities:
Engage in planting, cultivation, harvesting, and maintenance of crops in the greenhouse, while also maintaining general plant upkeep.
Operate a variety of agriculture and greenhouse equipment.
Drive the implementation of the daily and weekly production plan as directed by the Site Manager.
Ensure punctuality of Greenhouse Associates and actively supervise their productivity throughout the day.
Provide support for transportation needs of H2A workers, including transportation to and from work and weekly grocery runs.
Facilitate bi-monthly inspections of H2A housing as part of our support services.
Collaborate with the Site Manager in developing corrective action plans for Greenhouse Associates.
Work alongside the Site Manager and Safety lead to ensure strict adherence to safety programs and promote a safe work environment.
Education and
Experience:
Fluent in both English and Spanish.
High School Diploma/GED.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a managerial role.
Prior experience in an agricultural setting, such as a greenhouse or field, is preferred.
Working Conditions:
Open availability to work various work schedules including weekends.
Must have a reliable form of transportation.
Ability to handle, lift, and carry heavy or bulky objects weighing up to 60 lbs.
Ability to work for extended periods, including standing, walking, repetitive movements, and frequent bending or stooping.
Ability to work in varying temperature and humidity conditions.
Must be authorized to work in the US.
Recommended Skills Corrective And Preventive Action (Capa) English Maintenance Punctuality Scales Spanish Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
